The HUB Brussels in AlterEchos

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

An article by Julien Winkel in the last AlterEchos magazine – May 25, 2010.

The Journey Beyond the Wall of Poverty

Tuesday, April 27th, 2010

Learning Journey Berlin
26 June – 4 July 2010

The Learning Journey started out in 2009 at the Hub Berlin in order to provide a platform for learning, networking and exchange of ideas – what better place than a Hub for that, right? Now, this year, the undertaking has become a joint effort including: Pioneers of Change, AIESEC alumni, KaosPilots, Hub Berlin, Hub Brussels, and Hub Cairo.

The Learning Journey addresses the following question:

What is possible…
…in fighting destitution?
…in changing social iniquity?
…in opening up chances for the less wealthy?
…in activating humankinds potential?
…in a world without poverty?

It would be interesting to see in the comments what you guys think about these questions and what is possible on an individual level in addressing these issues.

Important to note:

“We are inviting individuals of any age who are entrepreneurial and who are looking for ways to contribute to poverty reduction. You must be willing to share your personal experiences as well as challenge your own knowledge while simultaneously having a clear and active commitment to the issue of Social Business. We will be selecting participants on the basis of demonstrable commitment and diversity of experiences and ideas.”

Furthermore, you can apply for a scholarship in order to attend the Learning Journey Berlin by going over to their Ning group and reading this article. The criteria are:

- What is the status of your project (existing in my head/ first steps are taken/ already running)?

- Please give a brief description of your business idea/ your project.

- Explain which aspects of your idea/project make it social and which aspects foster an entrepreneurial attitude.

- Explain your personal motivation to bring your idea/project into reality.

-Which experiences do you have, that will support you to let your idea fly?

Creative Places + Spaces: Collaboration Fuels Innovation

RTBF TV came to the Hub

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

Text & Video by journalist S. Falcinelli and cameraman Joël Renard.

The Hub in Bizz magazine!

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Benny Debruyne is journalist at Bizz magazine. For the opening of our Hub big space, he wrote a very nice article about us.

To read more, go to our Press content.
