Jon Worth
Remember the stir that the UK Atheist Bus Campaign caused a few months ago? Well, meet one of its makers: Jon Worth.
Jon Worth is a web designer for politicians in the UK, Sweden, Germany, Luxembourg and EU governmental body. Having started out in the UK government, he then branched out two years ago and began working as a web strategist and designer in order to aid campaigners. He has been a member of the Hub Brussels for the past month, having heard about the space through friends and colleagues. In order to avoid working from home as well as to have a collaborative atmosphere, Jon signed up to be a member at the Hub. He keeps coming thanks to the creative feedback and potential collaborators that the Hub provides.
Currently, Jon is busy as it is election season in his home country. However, he would be happy to give future workshops at the Hub about how to harness the beast that is Web 2.0 and turn it into a business’ greatest ally. For now, Jon leaves us with a tip: Most people’s biggest barrier to mastering the Web as a tool is fear. Don’t be afraid: try. Not everything will work but you learn if you just try, try and try again.
